Quick Defense Classes
Levels I and II
Goshin Karate & Judo Academy is offering an exciting class for women called the Quick Defense Women's Self Protection "Crash Course". This course is a three hour, no frills, self-defense training course for women of the general public, ages fourteen and above. It is designed to teach self-defense techniques to those who otherwise would not enroll in a martial arts school. It's easy to learn, practical, and safe to practice.
August 17, 2008 2:00pm - 5:00pm
October 25, 2008 2:00pm - 5:00pm
We will teach you:
Reality Based Self-Defense - Adrenal-Stress Scenario Training
The original program consists of three levels which were interwoven to some degree so students are required to take the courses in order - Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2.
You will learn all these and numerous other effective methods of practical self protection. In the last part of the class, you will have the opportunity to practice these skills on a padded live assailant.
Here is what one student/mother said:
"I was scared at first to take the classes because I wasn't sure what to expect. But the instructors (all of them) were GREAT! The staff went over everything in detail and made me feel comfortable. You could tell they have been doing these classes for years. They really made sure I understood how to do the techniques. I'm so glad I went!" Stacy W. - Scottsdale, AZ.
